- Morro Bay, CA is a little coastal town known mostly for Morro Rock, a volcanic plug that sits at the mouth of the Bay. In all the postcards of Morro Bay, the image is framed so that you can't tell that just beyond the edge of the postcard is a gargantuan power plant with three towering smoke stacks. This film tries to restore the power plant to the frame, so that we can start thinking about what the juxtaposition of these two massive objects might really mean.

- A secular meditation on 'melancholia,' the pain that accompanies the separation of mother and child. The film uses montage and split-screen images to reexamine the mytho-religious aspects of the Mary and Jesus story, which may well be interpreted as a supreme "Freudian" instance of the 'loss of an object of desire.'

- A young girl reads a horror comic about a businessman who abducts itinerant women with uncanny results. Shot in Super-8, the films pays tribute to 1950s horror comics and B-movies with an eye to the tradition of voyeurism in horror cinema.
